About Us

Rob and Tina Moorman are a unique blending of artistic talent that permeates every aspect of their photography creations. Rob’s photography background is rooted in the motion picture industry which he enjoyed for ten years. Being a scuba diver, he dabbled in underwater photography as a hobby, but yearned to learn more. Two years later he received a degree in photography and opened Moorman Photographics (see Our Studio here). As for Tina, she received a degree in Studio Art from Florida State University and a diploma in Welding through P.T.E.C. In addition to their shared artistic bent, Rob and Tina both enjoy kayaking, scuba diving, boating, and other outdoor activities. They have been married almost nine years and worship at Calvary Chapel, St. Petersburg.

Both Tina and Rob were born and raised in St. Petersburg. Because of their deep roots here, they particularly enjoy giving back to the community. They provide free family portraits to Wow Jam (a gospel message ministry meeting people where they are) and Calvary Chapel’s Angel Tree Ministry (which helps children of incarcerated parents). They also devote much of their time to Kairos Prison Ministry.

It’s easy to tell that Rob and Tina love photography. They have the client’s interest at heart and always treat them as they would want to be treated themselves. “I think it’s a privilege,” Rob says, “that people allow us to take our art and create something that’s going to be an heirloom for them for years to come.”
